All around the world, post industrial cities are being hollowed out for their aesthetic value and turned into galleries and restaurants when they can instead be transformed into 21st century factories. Utilising machinery and technology both the clean and “dirty” components of manufacturing can be brought back to downtown where they can provide not only economic benefits but also engage the public in the intrigue of how things are made.
